1. A composition comprising
(I) a silicon containing co-polymer comprising at least one compound having the following molecular formula:
R1(CH2CH2O)dCH(CH3)CH2O)b(CH(CH2CH3)CH2O)c(CH(Z1/2R2)CH2O)aR5 where R2 is a group defined as M*fD*gT*hQ*iR6j, where M*=R7R8R9SiZ1/2, D*=R10R11SiZ2/2, T*=R12SiZ3/2, Q*=SiZ4/2, R6=—(CH2)1/2(R13)k(CH2)1/2—, independently selected; wherein
R1 is independently selected from —OH or —OC(O)CH3 or a monovalent hydrocarbon radical having 1 to about 40 carbon atoms and optionally containing heteroatoms and hydroxyl groups,R5 is independently selected from hydrogen or a —C(O)CH3 group or a monovalent hydrocarbon radical having 1 to about 40 carbon atoms and optionally containing heteroatoms and hydroxyl groups,Z is independently selected from O or CH2 groups, subject to the limitation that the molecule contains an even number of O1/2 and even number of (CH2)1/2 groups and wherein every O1/2 group is paired with another O1/2 group and every (CH2)1/2 group is paired with another (CH2)1/2 group in the molecule,R7, R8, R9, R10, R11 and R12 are each independently selected from the group of OR14 or monovalent hydrocarbon radicals having 1 to about 20 carbon atoms and optionally containing heteroatoms and hydroxyl groups,R13 is oxygen or divalent linear or branched, unsaturated or saturated hydrocarbon radical containing at least one and less than about 30 carbon atoms and optionally containing heteroatoms and hydroxyl groups,R14 is a monovalent, linear or branched, unsaturated or saturated hydrocarbon radical having 1 to about 20 carbon atoms and optionally containing heteroatoms and hydroxyl groups,subscripts a, b, and c are zero or positive subject to the limitation 3<a+b+c+d<about 1000,subscripts d>1,subscripts f, g, h, i and j are 0 or positive subject to the limitation f+g+h+i+j<about 300, and,subscript k is either 0 or 1; and, (II) an emulsion wherein the concentration of the silicon containing co-polymer (I) in said composition is from about 0.1 ppm to about 10,000 ppm. |
