An electronic management system for use with one or more static converters and one or more electricity generating cells, the electronic management system comprising: one or more cell connection terminals coupled to corresponding output terminals of n associated electricity generating cells of the electricity generating cells, n being a positive integer number; one or more output terminals coupled to corresponding input terminals of m associated static converters of the static converters, m being a positive integer number which is equal to at least two; an energy routing module having first terminals coupled to corresponding cell connection terminals of the electronic management system, second terminals coupled to corresponding output terminals of the electronic management system, and a third, control terminal, said energy routing module including one or more switches adapted for routing energy flow from at least one of said cell connection terminals to at least one of said output terminals, said energy routing module comprising at least p output terminals and p input terminals, p being a positive integer number which is greater than or equal to one, the output terminals coupled to corresponding input terminals to form one or more loop connections between the p output terminals and the p input terminals; and an electronic control unit coupled to the control terminal of said energy routing module, said electronic control unit configured to dynamically control said energy routing module.
