Rope grips.-In haulage clips of the type embodying opposed rope-gripping jaws displaceable relatively to each other by the rotation of a lever operated cam device, two cams 8, 10a are provided one of which moves the jaws towards each other and the other of which separates them. The cam 10a is formed on the upper face, of a circular enlargement of the handle 10 which is non-rotatably connected to a bolt 9 mounted in the body 1 of the clip. The cam 8 is non-rotatably connected to the lower end of the bolt 9 and is disposed in the hollow part of the body 1 above the part 3 of the movable jaw 4. A part, 3b of the jaw 4 projects above the body 1 and is formed with an overhanging lip 14, the undersurface of which is engaged by the cam 10a. A coupling hook 7 is attached to the part 3. |
