Shears. -In pruning-shears according to the parent Specification, a cushion 14 of rubber, cork, felt, or the like is arranged in the recess 6 of the fixed jaw 4, the cushion having a depending stem 20 which is gripped between the jaw 4 and the secondary jaw 5. The side face of the jaw 4, to which the secondary jaw 5 is secured by screws 15, is recessed to receive the stem 20, the centre of which is opposite the cutting edge of the blade 9. |
