PURPOSE:To provide the stereoscopic endoscope image pickup device equipped with a stereoscopic display system complying with a user's choice. CONSTITUTION:A stereoscopic TV camera head 14 which includes two image pickup means is mounted on a stereoscopic hard endoscope 13 which enables stereoscopic view and connected to a video processor which performs signal processing, and the video output terminal of this video processor 4 is connected with an HMD as a stereoscope system display means and a double-speed TV monitor 8 which display a right and a left video signal on a time-division basis at a double speed through a double speed conversion unit 7. Further, stereoscopic view is made possible by the stereoscope system by using the HMD 6 and the right and left video signals displayed on a double-speed TV monitor 8 on a time-division basis can be viewed stereoscopically by a time-division system using liquid crystal shutter spectacles 9 or polarizing spectacles 10. |
