Lantern screens. - An anti-dazzle device for vehicle and like lamps comprises downwardly directed horizontal louvres E and an upper opaque reflecting surface D, whereby rays of light reflected upwardly by a parabolic reflector A are reflected rearwardly by the reflecting surface D and are then re-directed in a forward and downward direction. The reflecting surface D may comprise horizontal corrugations arranged at 90‹ to one another and a space is left between the lowermost corrugation and the uppermost louvre. The device is made of highly polished metal and may be fitted inside or outside of the front glass C.</p> |
