[Class 20 (iii).] Obscurement by rain, preventing.-A weather screen of the kind having a rapidly rotated disc for shedding rain &c., is provided with a fixed annular trap 2 at the periphery of the disc to prevent rain being blown inside the screen. The metal rim on the disc has a lip extending into the trap and an outer ring 9 with a forwardly extending edge to throw off water and forms in conjunction with the fixed parts 1, 8, a zig-zag air passage 7<1>, 7 having a rearward opening into the trap. The trap has a sump 11 and one or two tubular exhausts 12 provided with cowls 13 towards the outside. |
