A method for treating interstitial pneumonia comprising administering a fibrosis inhibitor containing 2-{4-[N-(5,6-diphenylpyrazin-2-yl)-N-isopropylamino]butyloxy}acetic acid, 2-{4[N-(5,6-diphenylpyrazin-2-yl)-N-isopropylamino]butyloxy}-N-(methylsulfonyl)acetamide or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof as an active ingredient to a patient in need of such treatment.
