A three-dimensional scaffold composition consisting of a three-dimensional scaffold of randomly oriented electrospun nanofibers, wherein the electrospun nanofibers consist of polyethylene glycol-polylactic acid block copolymer (PEG-PLA) and poly(lactic-co-glycolic acid) (PLGA), wherein ratio of PEG-PLA to PLGA is approximately 1:4 with fiber diameter ranges from approximately 0.69 to 4.18 micrometers and with pores having a diameter of less than approximately 10 micrometers, and a population of cells that have undergone an endothelial-mesenchymal transition to form a tumoroid. |
