Even when the movement range of the focus lens unit is set by the setting section to be one of the first range and the second range, the drive control section removes the setting of the movement range when instructions are received from the imaging device. |

a focus lens unit that is movable in an optical axis direction; an actuator that moves the focus lens unit along the optical axis direction; a drive control section that controls drive of the actuator; and a setting section that is capable of setting a movement range of the focus lens unit to be one of a first range and a second range that differ from each other with respect to at least one of one end and another end thereof, each range defining the range in which the focus lens unit is allowed to move, wherein even when the movement range of the focus lens unit is set by the setting section to be one of the first range and the second range, the drive control section removes the setting of the movement range when instructions are received from the imaging device. |
