The invention relates to a charging apparatus (1 fig.1) for a vehicle which can be electrically driven, having a charging cradle 4 which has an access opening 8, an electrical charging socket 5 arranged within the charging cradle, a closure cover 7 which is pivotably mounted in the charging cradle and, in a closed position, covers the access opening and, in an open position, opens the access opening, and also having a seal 12. The seal is a sealing ring which extends around the charging socket, and the closure cover has a ring attachment 18 which, when the closure cover is closed, makes contact with the sealing ring along the ring contour of the sealing ring. The sealing ring may be circular with a circular cross-section and may be a hose seal. |
