The invention relates mainly to a method for producing a composition of glycidyl ethers synthesised from furan derivatives (furan glycidyl ethers), partly characterised by azeotropic distillation performed under reduced pressure and without the addition of a catalyst. Such products are used to produce epoxy resins, with the aim of forming a three-dimensional macromolecular network. With the compositions of the invention the cross-linking density of the network is increased, allowing the production of a material which is more resistant, both chemically and mechanically, and has a higher glass transition temperature (Tg) than the same materials produced with compositions of furan glycidyl ethers synthesised at atmospheric pressure according to prior art.
