The device has a carrier (1) for passing through a pipeline. The carrier includes a top side (11) with end-side sections (11a, 11b), which upwardly extend away from respective outer ends (10a, 10b) of a straight or concave underside (10) in an arc-shaped and convex manner in a direction of one of the opposite outer ends. A radius of curvature of the end-side sections of the top side of a cross section is larger than 50% of a maximum distance of the underside from the top side. A camera and/or a tool (2) is arranged at the carrier. |
