Provided is an apparatus for a magnetic bead method. The apparatus comprises a magnetic needle sheath, a magnetic needle, and a container. The magnetic needle sheath is provided with a main body and a bottom portion. An external surface of the bottom portion is provided with one or more vertically disposed blades. Also provided are the magnetic needle sheath and a method for processing magnetic particles in a liquid composition by using the apparatus or the magnetic needle sheath.
