The method involves initializing a holographic master (2), arranging holographic material (4) before the holographic master, and generating coherent light (8) in monochromatical manner. The holographic material is exposed in different positions along perfect direction with the monochromatic light of different spectral colors according to a predetermined color pattern. A hologram is developed with lamellar shaped regions of different spectral colors, where each region exactly includes one of different spectral colors. The regions are adjacent to each other. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a device for producing a hologram as a security feature (2) a verification device for a hologram (3) a hologram having different spectral colors lying in a viewable spectral region. |
