1. An apparatus comprising:
logic, at least a portion of which is in hardware, to cause modification to an output of a voltage regulator or a power source, coupled to a processor, based on at least a charge level of a battery pack, wherein the battery pack is to supply power to the processor through the voltage regulator or the power source, wherein a level of the modification is to be determined based at least in part on a maximum current consumption by the processor and a maximum power level that the battery pack is capable to deliver while the output of the voltage regulator or the power source is above a minimum system voltage level, wherein the maximum power level of the battery pack is to be determined on a periodic basis. |
