The main subject matter of the invention is a device (1) for cutting at least one workpiece (3) by means of bonded-abrasive wire (2), comprising first (5a) and second (5b) rotary members and a lubricating and cleaning assembly (7) comprising at least one spray lubrication system (7a) provided with means (8a) for spraying lubrication fluid, disposed upstream from said at least one workpiece (3) to be cut, and at least one spray cleaning system (7b) provided with means (8b) for spraying cleaning fluid, disposed downstream from said at least one workpiece (3), the wire (2) being sprayed continuously when being driven in rotation. The means (8a) for spraying lubrication fluid are configured to form a lubrication film (9) surrounding the wire, the thickness of which is greater than the total diameter of the wire (2). |
