1. A method of enhancing photosynthetic productivity from a cyanobacteria, the method comprising:
providing a cyanobacterial cell population in which the cyanobacteria are genetically modified to have a disruption in a CPC-operon; growing the cyanobacterial cell population in a reactor to obtain a cyanobacterial culture; maintaining the culture under conditions in which the light intensity is at least 500 micromol photons per square meter per second; and the culture absorbs at least 70% of the incoming light. |
