A precursor epoxy resin diluent composition including: (a) at least one epoxy resin diluent, (b) a compound containing a cardanol moiety, and (c) optionally, at least one catalyst; a curable epoxy resin composition including (A) the above precursor epoxy resin diluent composition, and (B) a crosslinker compound; and a waterproofing layer including a reaction product of (i) the above precursor epoxy resin diluent composition, and (ii) a crosslinker compound.
