A probe head for nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy comprising a printed circuit board made of a dielectric material carrying a micro-conductor structure, wherein the micro-conductor structure comprises a first micro-conductor with a reduction in cross section for generating and detecting a radiofrequency field, wherein the first micro-conductor is connected in each case to a power supply at both ends, wherein a second micro-conductor (7) which is not in electrical contact with the first micro-conductor (6) is arranged on the printed circuit board (2) upstream and downstream of the reduction in cross section (8), as seen in the current-flow direction (9), said second micro-conductor being connected in each case to further power supplies (7a, 7b) at both ends, wherein the second micro-conductor (7) has such a C-shaped embodiment that the current-flow direction in the first C-limb (10a) of the second micro-conductor (7) is across the current-flow direction (9) through the reduction in cross section (8) upstream of the reduction in cross section (8) and the current-flow direction in the second C-limb (10b) of the second micro-conductor (7) is counter to the current-flow direction through the first C-limb (10a) downstream of the reduction in cross section (8).
