A phase encoding broadband photon sieve, having a diameter of D, and comprising a transparent plane substrate (1) and a non-light-transmissive metal thin film (2) plated on the transparent plane substrate. Light-penetrating small holes are distributed on the non-light-transmissive metal thin film (2) in a ring strip-shaped manner. The position distribution of the light-penetrating small holes can be represented by an equation (I), wherein f represents the focal length of the broadband photon sieve; n represents a ring-strip number of a light-penetrating ring strip; λ represents the operating wavelength of the photon sieve; R represents the radius of the broadband photon sieve; α represents a cubic encoding coefficient; k represents a wave number; xm and ym represent the central position of the mth small hole on the nth light-penetrating ring strip; and m=1, 2, 3,..., num, wherein (II), (III), and the radius of the small hole (IV). The broadband photon sieve has an encoding function of a phase coding plate and a focusing function of a conventional photon sieve, so that the wavelength sensitivity of the photon sieve is greatly reduced. Besides, bandwidth of the photon sieve is expanded without affecting the resolution of the photon sieve, and the energy efficiency is improved. |
