COOLING SYSTEM AND COOLING METHOD

A cooling system combining a plurality of refrigeration cycles requires complicated control in order to maximize the cooling capacity of the cooling system. Therefore, this cooling system has: a first cooling means that comprises a first refrigerant transportation means and cools an object to be cooled through the uptake of heat by and the vaporization of a first refrigerant that circulates through the first refrigerant transportation means; a second cooling means that obtains heat released by the condensation of the vaporized first refrigerant and cools a second refrigerant; a refrigerant cooling means that cools a condensed refrigerant fluid, i.e. the condensed first refrigerant, using the second refrigerant; and a second refrigerant transportation means configured such that the second refrigerant circulates through the second cooling means and the refrigerant cooling means.
