Embodiments of the present invention provide a method and apparatus for collecting statistics on packet congestions. The method comprises: when packets fail to enter a queue, acquiring the length of a packet at a queue head of the congested queue; and when the length of the packet at the queue head is greater than a capacity of a token bucket of an optical network terminal (ONT), determining that a congestion is an ONT-level congestion. By means of the technical solution, a carrier can identify a congestion point of packets, and better service experience of users is ensured by adjusting a service. |
