Manufacturing method of a luminous biaxial elastic knitted fabric comprising the following steps: providing a conical bobbin with luminous yarn wound with a constant linear speed, supplying luminous yarn to a flat or circular knitting machine, and knitting a warp or weft pattern with conventional yarn and luminous yarn, in such a way that one of the loops is knitted with luminous yarn and one of the needles of the knitting machine is not supplied with luminous yarn and thereby a loop-free area is created in the knitted fabric. Another object is a biaxial elastic knitted fabric manufactured with said method and a feed system of luminous yarn for winding on a yarn rewinding machine at a constant linear speed.
