Embodiments of the present invention provide a synchronization method, a user equipment, and a base station. The synchronization method comprises: a user equipment acquires synchronization information, the synchronization information comprising one of the following synchronization information: selection parameter information of a synchronization source, indication information of the synchronization source and priority information of the synchronization source; the user equipment receives a first synchronization signal sent by at least one synchronization source; and the user equipment determines a synchronization reference source according to the synchronization information and the first synchronization information. In embodiments of the present invention, by acquiring synchronization information and determining a synchronization reference source according to the synchronization information and a synchronization signal of at least one synchronization source, synchronization can be implemented.
