摘要 Provided is a vehicle drive device (1) which is equipped with an automatic clutch (3) and allows an increase in the frequency of learning of touch point strokes. The vehicle drive device (1) has a control unit (10). Upon determining that a change affecting a touch point has occurred in the automatic clutch (3), the control unit (10) stops the engine torque operation performed by an accelerator pedal (51) and sets the rotational speed of an engine (2) to a specified rotational speed. The control unit (10) maintains a transmission (4) in the neutral position with no shift position formed, gradually changes the automatic clutch (3) from a disengaged state to an engaged state, and detects the stroke corresponding to the touch point where the automatic clutch (3) starts to engage on the basis of the input shaft rotational speed detected by an input shaft rotational speed sensor (43) and the clutch stroke detected by a clutch stroke sensor (38c).
