A method for detecting an optical line terminal (OLT) port. The method comprises: an information receiver accessing a port to be detected; a network management system instructing an optical line terminal (OLT) to issue identification information; and the information receiver receiving the identification information sent by the OLT through an on-line optical generation device. By means of the solution, information about a maintenance port can be quickly known, which is irrelevant to a service, and there is no need to modify the PON protocol, so that maintenance is simpler and more convenient, and the maintenance efficiency is improved. |
