A linear vibration motor comprising an oscillator and a stator arranged parallel to the oscillator. The oscillator comprises a counterweight (31) and a vibrating block embeddedly fixed in the counterweight (31). Permanent magnets (32a, 32b, 32c, 32a', and 32b') in the vibrating block and electromagnets in the stator produce push-pull forces acting on each other. The electromagnets in the stator produce an altered magnetic field when powered on and, by changing the direction of magnetic field lines of the magnetic field, drive the oscillator into making a reciprocating motion in the direction parallel to the plane on which the stator is located. With the repulsive force between either extremities of identical polarity of the permanent magnets (32a, 32b, 32c, 32a', and 32b'), the linear vibration motor allows the magnetic field lines of the permanent magnets (32a, 32b, 32c, 32a', and 32b') to concentratively run through coils (41a, 41b, and 41'), thus producing an increased magnetic flux and enhanced vibration effects. |
