The invention concerns a device (100) for producing domestic hot water by heat recovery from waste water, comprising a waste water discharge circuit (1), a circuit for heating domestic cold water to produce domestic hot water, a first heat exchanger (2) arranged on the waste water circuit, configured to transfer heat from the waste water to the domestic cold water, resulting in preheated cold water, a heat pump (3) comprising an evaporator (4) and a condenser (5), configured to heat the preheated cold water to produce domestic hot water, the evaporator (4) being arranged on the waste water circuit downstream from and in series with the first heat exchanger, the condenser (5) being arranged on the heating circuit downstream from and in series with the first heat exchanger (2) so as to heat preheated water from the first heat exchanger, the device (100) comprising a priming circuit configured to supply domestic cold water to the evaporator (4) of the heat pump (3), and the device (100) not comprising storage of either domestic hot water or waste water. The field of the invention concerns the optimisation of hot water production and relates to sustainable development aiming to reduce energy use. The invention is particularly applicable for recovering heat energy from waste water in individual homes, for showers or other hot water consumption points, or indeed in public facilities, for various hot water consumption points, such as showers, etc. |
