1. A gaming system comprising:
at least one display device; at least one input device; at least one processor; and at least one memory device which stores a plurality of instructions, which when executed by the at least one processor, cause the at least one processor to operate with the at least one display device, and the at least one input device to:
(a) if a wager is placed in association with a play of a game:
(i) deduct the placed wager from a credit balance,(ii) determine a game outcome,(iii) display the determined game outcome,(iv) determine any award associated with the determined game outcome,(v) display any determined award associated with the determined game outcome, and(vi) modify the credit balance based on any determined award associated with the determined game outcome, and(b) if an interruption event occurs, automatically:
(i) cause a wireless transmission of data to a mobile device, said data associated with an amount of funds to transfer to a cashless wagering account accessed via a mobile device application of the mobile device, and(ii) modify the credit balance based on the transferred amount of funds. |
