A system and method for rapid pyrolysis of coal. The system for rapid pyrolysis of coal comprises: a rapid pyrolysis reactor (100), a slag cooler (200), and a cooling apparatus (300), wherein the rapid pyrolysis reactor (100) comprises a reactor body (10), a multilayer regenerative radiant tube (15), a coal inlet (101), a distributor (16), a distribution gas inlet (102), a plurality of pyrolysis gas outlets (103), a semi-coke outlet (104); the slag cooler (200) is connected to the semi-coke outlet (104), and is suitable for cooling semi-cokes; the cooling apparatus (300) is connected to the pyrolysis gas outlets (103), and is suitable for cooling a pyrolysis gas to obtain tar and a fuel gas. The system significantly improves the yield of tar and greatly simplifies the process flow of a rapid pyrolysis reaction. |
