1. A computer-implemented method, comprising:
providing an object-based editing environment for defining a digital video as a linear arrangement of discrete media objects, each digital media object electronically stored as a digital file; displaying a graphical representation of a first digital media object within the editing environment; displaying one or more user interface icons associated with the digital media object; receiving first user input, the first user input corresponding to a first interface icon of the one or more interface icons; in response to receiving the first user input, displaying a first menu; receiving second user input associated with the first menu, the second user input identifying a second digital media object; displaying a graphical representation of the second digital media object within the editing environment; and generating a digital video comprising the first digital media object and the second digital media object. |
