The present invention provides: an anti-glare film which comprises a cellulose acylate film base having a film thickness of 20-70 μm and an anti-glare layer having a film thickness of 3-12 μm, and wherein the anti-glare layer contains a binder resin and particles that have an average primary particle diameter of 1-10 μm and a refractive index of 1.50-1.56, while containing a resin which contains at least one of a repeating unit represented by general formula (I) and a repeating unit represented by general formula (II) set forth in the description; a polarizing plate which comprises this anti-glare film; and an image display device.
