This power conversion device is provided with: a first AC-DC conversion unit (23) that generates DC voltage to be imposed on a compressor drive unit (25); a first DC voltage smoothing unit (24) that smooths the DC voltage; a first noise reduction unit (11) of which one end is connected to an AC power source (1) and of which the other end is connected to the first AC-DC conversion unit (23); a second noise reduction unit (12) disposed between the first noise reduction unit (11) and the first AC-DC conversion unit (23); an inrush current suppression circuit (first inrush current suppression resistor (21B), rectifying diode (21C)) that is connected in parallel to the second noise reduction unit (12) and the first AC-DC conversion unit (23) and that suppresses an inrush current to the first DC voltage smoothing unit (24); a first AC power source relay (21) that opens/closes the power source supply pathway to the inrush current suppression circuit; and a second AC power source relay (22) that opens/closes a power source supply pathway to the second noise reduction unit (12).
