A battery module, according to an embodiment of the present invention, comprises: a battery cell assembly which has one or more battery cells and has one or more cooling fins, coming in contact with the one or more battery cells, exposed on both lateral parts and one lateral part vertical to both lateral parts; a first end plate which has one or more first insulating members, coming in contact with the one or more cooling fins exposed on both lateral parts of the battery cell assembly, mounted on the inner wall and supports both lateral parts of the battery cell assembly; a second end plate which is coupled to the first end plate, covers the battery cell assembly, and supports one lateral part of the battery cell assembly; a cooling plate which is provided between one lateral part of the battery cell assembly and the second end plate and receives heat transferred from the one or more cooling fins; and one or more second insulating members which are disposed between the cooling plate and the one or more cooling fins exposed on one lateral part of the battery cell assembly.
