Embodiments of the present invention provide a method for determining the size of a contention window, a radio base station, and a mobile station. An information sending method according to one embodiment of the present invention is executed by a radio base station, and comprises: acquiring contention window parameters about at least one mobile station; determining, according to the acquired contention window parameters, the size of a contention window to be used by the at least one mobile station; and generating retreat information according to the determined size of the contention window, and notifying the at least one mobile station of the retreat information.
