The present application relates to a program recording and sharing method and system. During recording, a TS stream is divided into a plurality of TS segments for recording, and an index and a list file are established; the index is stored in the list file; when sharing a recorded program, only the list file is shared first, and the TS segments are not shared; a TS segment is selected via the list file; and only the selected TS segment is sent after selection, without requiring sending of the entire TS stream, nor requiring multiple operations. The present invention can accurately position a specific playing time point, thereby reducing the burden of a set-top box, facilitating program sharing and bringing about user usage convenience. |
