The invention relates to a process of deposition by a combination of brazing and welding of some metallic layers of various thickness on metal support materials, said layers having mechanical properties higher than those of the support material, without affecting the characteristics thereof, the metal support materials being rods, pistons, bearings, bolts, shafts or the like. According to the invention, the process consists in depositing by brazing on the support material (1) a first layer (2) of material by using the "lack of fusion" of the MIG/MAG process by controlling the parameters of the welding mode in correlation with the technique of positioning the wire electrode and the electric arc, followed by depositing the other layers (4) on the first layer (2) by welding. |
