The acquisition unit acquires a direction of an image relative to a placement section, the image being formed on a sheet which is transported to and placed on the placement section. The display controller performs control for displaying a first image on a display, the first image representing an external appearance obtained when the sheet which is placed on the placement section and on which the image is formed is viewed from a specific direction relative to the placement section, and causes, in a case where the direction which is predetermined for the image is acquired, a second image which represents an external appearance of the sheet obtained when viewed from a direction different from the predetermined direction to be displayed.
