Provided is a balloon wrapping machine that can accurately position and insert a balloon in relation to a pleating part. A balloon wrapping machine for wrapping a balloon 52 disposed on the tip of a long shaft 51 includes: a pleating part 2 for forming a blade shape in the balloon 52; a folding part 3 for folding, along the circumferential direction, the blade shape formed in the balloon 52; a support base 4 that supports a portion of the shaft 51 other than the tip and allows the tip of the shaft 51 to be inserted into the pleating part 2 and the folding part 3; and a core metal material 6 that is inserted into the shaft 51. The core metal material 6 is inserted into the shaft 51 from the tip position of the balloon 52 at least further to the base end side than the base end position of the balloon 52. |
