Provided is a driver installation system (100), in which a client device (12) comprises: a device information display processing unit (127) which acquires, via a server device (11) from a peripheral device (20) whereupon a driver is to be installed, an image of a device information screen (D) of the peripheral device (20), and causes a display unit (13) to display said image; a selection acceptance unit (131) which accepts, from an operator, a selection of the device information screen (D); a device information read-in unit (128) which reads in device information from the selected device information screen (D); and a driver installation processing unit (129) which receives from the server device (11) a driver installation file for the peripheral device (20) which the device information indicates, and which installs on the client device (12) the driver for the peripheral device (20). |
