A glue coating method and a display panel. The glue coating method is used for coating of glue on a display panel comprising multiple groups of display subpanels (A-F), each group of display subpanels comprising at least two columns of display subpanels. For each group of display subpanels, the glue coating method comprises: coating an area between every two adjacent columns of display subpanels with a first glue body, and coating the outer side of the left edge of the leftmost column of display subpanels and the outer side of the right edge of the rightmost column of display subpanels with second glue bodies, wherein the width of the second glue bodies is greater than or equal to 1/2 of that of the first glue body (S102).
