The invention relates to an improved mirror furniture item comprising at least two planar mirror panels (E) disposed in respective planes of a dihedral with an adjustable angular opening (A). A supporting plate (2) is provided in the form of a frame for the hinged mounting of the mirror panels (E). The mirror panels are mounted to the supporting plate, separated from one another horizontally by a distance (D). The invention also includes a set of hinges (3-3) for hingedly mounting each of the mirror panels to the supporting plate (2). The distance (D) separating the mirror panels horizontally from one another is selected so as to be smaller than a maximum value (Dmax) above which no real image of the user is formed.
