A FINISHING ATTACHMENT FOR A TILLAGE IMPLEMENT

A finishing attachment (700, 700') for a tillage implement having a frame (130, 130') supporting tillage tools and supported by ground-engaging wheels (142) is disclosed. The finishing attachment (700, 700') comprising: a support arm (710, 710') configured to mount to a frame (130, 130') so that a long dimension of the support arm (710, 710') extends in a fore-aft direction of an implement; a cross-bar (730, 730') having a long dimension extending transverse to the fore-aft direction and coupled to a free end of the support arm (710, 710'); a roller basket (720, 720') mounted to the cross-bar (730, 730') for rotation with respect to the cross-bar (730, 730'); and a pivot bracket (740, 740') coupling the free end of the support arm (710, 710') to the cross-bar (730, 730'), the pivot bracket (740, 740') forms a pivot axis (742, 742') extending substantially in the fore-aft direction of travel about which the roller basket (720, 720') pivots. Further, a tillage implement with a finishing element (700, 700') is disclosed.
