Various embodiments of the portable lamp comprise a base having an upper surface, a substrate coupled to the base on the upper surface of the base, the substrate including at least one surface having a plurality of light emitting units disposed thereon, the substrate being movable relative to the base to direct light emitted from the light emitting units in a desired direction, and a light-transmitting cover surrounding the substrate.
