A vapor compression system with subcooling is described herein. One system includes a condenser configured to condense a refrigerant into a liquid, a liquid refrigerant receiver configured to receive the condensed liquid refrigerant, and a valve configured to adjust a pressure of the condensed liquid refrigerant before the condensed liquid refrigerant is received by the liquid refrigerant receiver to subcool the condensed liquid refrigerant. |
