A media presenter (10) is described. The media presenter (10) comprises a chassis (12) including a nose (14) coupled thereto. The chassis (12) and nose (14) include (i) a presenting end (42) distal from the chassis (12), and (ii) a presenting track (48) extending from the chassis (12) to the presenting end (42). A carriage (20) is mounted on the presenting track (48) for movement therealong, and comprises a carriage body (72) coupled to a carriage plate (74) by a linkage (96). The carriage plate (74) is movable between an open position at which media items can be placed on the carriage plate (74), and a closed position for clamping media items between the carriage plate (74) and the carriage body (72). |
