The press (10) has drivable rollers (46-52) limiting a part of a periphery of a baling chamber (26), where each roller is fixed at a circular-arc shaped holder (44). A drivable, endless, flexible pressing unit (76) limits another part of the periphery of the baling chamber and lies on a rotating body (88) and a free-running rotary body (90), where the free-running rotary body is fixed at the holder. The rotating body is coupled to the holder in a moveable fashion by a drive connection. The rotating body is prestressed so as to tighten the pressing unit. |
