Copolymer, based on alpha -beta -unsaturated monocarboxylic acid, preferably acrylic acid, is claimed. The copolymer exhibits a molecular weight of less than 100000. Independent claims are also included for: (1) preparing the copolymer mentioned above, comprising copolymerizing the alpha -beta -unsaturated monocarboxylic acid, preferably acrylic acid, and a co-monomer, preferably an ester of the alpha -beta -unsaturated monocarboxylic acid, in solution; and (2) a copolymer compound comprising the copolymer. |
