The method involves determining steering angle (110) of vehicle (100) based on a turning rate (245) of the vehicle. The rotation speeds of two opposed wheels (102,104,106,108) are determined based on turning rate to determine differential rotation speed. The slippage of two opposed wheels of vehicle is determined based on steering angle and differential rotational speed.
